the studio portrait that i am the most fond of is the picture of marks face in a shadow with some light peering through. the light was on the right of marks face and i was on his left so the light barely showed on the side of his face. it was coming from a studio light turned all the way up. it created a perfect shape of light outlining marks face. is position was seated still with his arms and legs planted straight down. it is a perfect headshot of the model. it is just a headshot there is no torso or lower body at all it is just a straight up head shot of the model mark. i took the photo square to the left of his head. ii was about 4-5 feet from mark when the picture was taken. the lighting and shadow make it have a dark and depressing feeling to it giving it that mysterious vibe to the photo. marks facial features were being focused on with the shadow outlining him completely. i use the same lighting throughout the photo.
